Description
The TP315-103 from Altinex is a HDMI over Power Extension Cable, AnyWire Transmitter. This device was designed to transmit 1080p HDMI signals up to 100' using a standard AC extension cord. This single transmitter over AnyWire can drive up to 4 receivers using either 4 individual extension cords from the transmitter, or by daisy chaining the receivers. It is beneficial to note that extensions cords should not be bundled together from the transmitter to the receiver as cross-talk will occur. The TP315-103 is a ideal, economical solution for many audiovisual installations, including rental and staging or digital signage type applications. The AC extension cord makes installation easy without the need to cut and splice wires and install expensive connectors or purchase costly cables. Simply route the extension cords, connect the AnyWire receiver AC cords to the extension cord, and then plug the TV into the receiver and that is it.
With the unique design of this HDMI over Power Extension Cable AnyWire Transmitter, users will benefit from a stable video transmission over greater distances than other straight HDMI cable designed systems. In addition IR pass-through from the receiver side to the transmitter side control, is provided without corrupting the HDMI signal during transmission of IR signals. Operation of this device does not require any user control or interaction, simply connect the HDMI input and the transmitter scans for receivers. Once detected it automatically pairs to the receiver and begins video transmission. This transmitter does include a local video output to support a local monitor for previewing of displayed content. The local monitor works by giving the user the ability to monitor and know what is being presented on the far side of the installation. Furthermore one of the AC receptacles on the transmitter side can be used to power the local monitor if only 3 receivers are being used or if the receivers are daisy-chained at the far end.
