Description
The seamless use of multiple HDMI devices is crucial in presentations and meetings to effectively deliver your message to the audience. This is not all, it is also imperative that the display switching between each HDMI source is smooth and that the final output is not jarring to the viewers.
AMX presents the Solecis 4x2 4K HDMI Auto Switcher to meet the strategic AV switching requirements in a conference room. This automatic switcher features four HDMI inputs and two output ports.
One output port is a standard HDMI, and the other is a DXLink. Users can easily connect up to four HDMI devices, like laptops, media players, and Blu-ray players, to the switch and receive outputs on local display using the HDMI link. The AMX switcher's second output port includes a built-in transmitter that allows the DXLink port to send the source signal to remote output locations up to 100 meters away. The DXLink uses standard Cat5e/6 cable to transmit signals.
This AMX Switcher set contains a couple of 5-pin Phoenix connectors, a 4-pin Phoenix connector, and rubber feet for device protection and stability. Thus, making the AMX switcher an invaluable AV system control resource in conference rooms. This switcher allows up to four presenters to connect their laptops or HDMI devices to a single display unit to deliver a cohesive presentation. The switcher automatically displays the active display screen without any external intervention.
If needed, the automatic switching function can also be disabled. Then, the HDCP 2.2 complaint AMX automatic switcher can be controlled using the front panel buttons or the RS-232 and IR controls for third-party systems.
The DXLink allows perfectly lossless 4K resolution videos and images, even if the display unit is far away. The DXLink output port supports transmitting audio, video, and control signals without disruption or deterioration.
