Description

Atlona's AT-RON-442 is a top of the line high-speed, two-output, HDMI Distribution Amplifier, with resolutions up to UHD 4K60 4:4:4. This top of the line 1x2 distribution amplifier is HDCP 2.2 compatible and supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) formats, as well as HDMI data rates up to 18Gbps. The Rondo amplifier (AT-RON-442) is an ideal solution for situations requiring the latest in 4K/UHD and HDR sources and displays to suit your high-end conference rooms, learning centers, or digital signage type applications, as it is compatible with all video resolutions, audio formats, and color space formats supported in the HDMI 2.0a specifications, plus it can pass metadata for HDR content. 

This distribution amplifier from Atlona includes EDID management features, easy to read front panel LED indicators for power and signal status, and has the capacity for cascading several units without compromising performance quality. Through EDID management the user can manage EDID communications with the source through a display's EDID or internally stored EDID, it as well ensures desired audio formats and video resolutions are provided to the AV system. Being able to support cascading you can combine multiple Rondo 442's and other Rondo series distribution amplifiers without compromising performance or reliability, and the system designs and configurations can easily be adapter or modified as needed.

Being multi-channel audio compliant, the distribution amplifier allows any multi-channel audio stream to be used within a residential or professional audio system and will support PCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS Digital Surround, and DTS-HD Master Audio. 

Housed in a rugged and compact enclosure this unit has a very low-profile of 1" high, making it easy on installations into racks and confined spaces, as well as being able to keep the device out-of-sight when placed in public spaces, making for a more aesthetic over look to your Pro A/V system.
