Description
The SC-HDM2-T4KHD Scaler from Avenview with HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 support, was designed as a device that can assist in solving EDID information problems that occur within a system design that uses different connected devices with varrying resolutions. With supported resolutions of 4K60 4:4:4 (8-bits) and HDR (4K60 4:2:0, 10-bits), this device uses its own supplied control software so the user can easily store and recall default EDID information, which also supports EDID Re-time / EDID Recorder setting in non-volatile memory that supports HDCP handshaking. This unit features resolution upscaling from 1080p to 4K2K or downscaling from 4K2K to 1080p (No frame rate conversion).
The SC-HDM2-T4KHD Scaler will allow an HDMI source to boot directly from EDID Reader/Writer/Re-Time mode which allows users to very simply remove the monitor at any time while installing the SC-HDM2-T4KHD between HDMI source and monitor. With the aid of the control software users can read, store, and modify the EDID of any HDMI/DVI display and upload the modified EDID to displays. With a video bandwidth of 18Gbps this scaler features, 1 HDMI input and 2 HDMI outputs, the HDMI outputs can be optionally used as a bypass to upscale to 4K or as a bypass to downscale to 1080p. To maintain or improve signal quality, this device Re-synthesizes the input HDMI stream to keep video signal quality at its original resolution.
