Description
The AVPro Edge AC-EX70-UHD is an HDBaseT transmitter and receiver kit that features the latest in 4K technology, the kit will send your 4K60 content up to 131' and 1080P content up to 230'. The transmitter and receiver support HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 for the ultimate in signal transmission. The transmitter and receiver are extremely thin coming in at under 1/2" thick so they can be mounted behind any TV or any location where space is tight. The kit also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) from the transmitter to the receiver, this means that the receiver does not require power. For extra long runs the kit can be cascaded up to 8 times and maintain perfect signal with no loss. Not only does the kit send HDMI with embedded audio but also bi-directional IR and RS-232 for your control needs.
The AVPro Edge AC-EX70-UHD also has support for HDR as a 10.2GBPS device. HDR pass-through is supported as long as the source device connected is sending the correct signal, this also can be done using proper EDID management. Most UHD/HDR devices will work (due to their design) automatically. Additionally this system features I-PASS. This allows you to plug you control system emitter ports directly into the IR port on the transmitter (via mono 3.5mm cable) for clean and reliable IR pass through, AVPro Edge unique VPC (Voltage Protection Circuit) allows you to do this without ware and tear on the sensitive electronics inside.
