AVPro Edge AC-IRRX
IR Receiver
Description
An IR receiver is used to receive and interpret infrared (IR) signals from remote controls or other devices that use IR communication. It is commonly used in audio/video (AV) systems, such as AV receivers, cable boxes, set top boxes, and other AV equipment, to allow remote control functionality. The IR receiver captures the IR signals emitted by a remote control and converts them into electrical signals that can be interpreted by the AV system or other devices. This enables users to control their AV equipment or other devices from a distance using a remote control, without the need for direct line-of-sight communication. IR receivers are widely used in home entertainment systems, smart TVs, audio systems, and other devices that require remote control functionality.
