Now offering the latest in group collaboration technology from Barco, the CSE-800 ClickShare Wireless 4K Presentation System. The CSE-800 features two HDMI inputs and outputs. This means that there is a direct connection with existing equipment and easy integration with conferencing systems, but also that two 4K UHD displays can be driven by a single base unit. Additionally the 2 network connections provided will allow for both separate and simultaneous connection to multiple networks, while providing additional security and convenience for users. Allowing up to 8 users on 2 screens, to share content simultaneously, 4 users per screen, the CSE-800 ensures connectivity to the central screen and encourages collaboration. The CSE-800 is a wireless collaboration system that includes 4 "click to share" USB buttons that makes presenting a snap, the system can be expanded to 64 simultaneous USB buttons. The kit also includes the base station that connects to your display via HDMI. The CSE-800 has the ability to display up to 4 users on 1 screen at the same time, 8 users if using dual displays, now you can compare your screens side-by-side for the ultimate in collaboration.
Introducing a number of unique features to the Barco CSE-800 including simultaneous sharing of up to 8 people at the same time, automatic and manual moderation, and blackboarding & annotation, make this the most powerful system in the ClickShare family to date. Being designed for enterprise rollouts and offering enhanced security features, a wider range of connectivity options, as well as, AirPlay and Google Cast support for non HDCP content and central management.
Another improvement designed into the CSE-800 is the moderation functionality. This function was specifically created for use in larger rooms, with multiple people wanting to share content at the same time. To prevent rapid switching of screens, that can make content difficult to follow, a moderator can manually select which content appears on-screen and when, thus ensuring a great experience for all attendees. The moderation function can equally be switched off at any time, returning the system into ClickShare's normal operating mode, with content being shared by the click of a button. In addition for user convenience, security features of the CSE-800 can be set to one of three predefined levels, depending on the company’s policies and needs.
ClickShare benefits versus the competition include there is no software to install, the USB button self launches its executable file making is easy for guests to walk into your room, plug in, and click to share. ClickShare recognizes your laptops resolution and your displays resolution and optimally displays the best resolution possible. Another major benefit is that it does not require network access and uses its own WiFi to send the video from the button to the base station. This means that it does not tie up an internet connection, provides security, and guests don't have to hunt down the guest network key to get on the corporate internet.
iPhone users can show fully dynamic content via the integrated AirPlay, as well as Samsung Galaxy tablets via the MirrorOp app. Android users can share static content with the free ClickShare app.
To install simply connect your power on the base station, and then the HDMI from the base station to your display. If desired you can connect the network connection so an IT admin can access a web browser for their specific security and policy needs. Plug the button into a USB port and run the self executable file, when you are ready to present just press the button and it will light up letting you know that you are actively presenting. This is a simple procedure for guests and requires no training, for users who use ClickShare on a consistent basis Barco has software that can be permanently installed on your laptop so you don't have to run the software from the button each time. Non-HDCP Compliant will not play copyright material.
