MaxBlox DB9(M) to Terminal Block Connector - Solderless

Description

The CD-MX9M from BTX is a part of the MaxBlox Series of Solderless HD15 and DB9 EZ termination system. The CD-MX9M is a male 9-pin D-SUB to Terminal Block connection, that is used for RGBHV field termination with VGA connectors using a solderless termination design. This patented design was manufactured with genuine Phoenix Contact terminal blocks which allows the connector to maintain a very low profile and compact design, making for a truly reliable connection that when used with the compatible hood has a strain relief pull specification of up to 50lbs. By eliminating the need to crimp or solder these connections the MaxBlox series has dramatically reduced installation times which makes them a very cost effective item to use in the field as they can be easily terminated with just a screwdriver. The unique sled-type bottom allows these connectors to slide, snap, and lock in the MaxBlox CD-MX915H hood (optional and sold separately) for a secure cable mount connection, which works in both cable and panel mount applications. When these devices are used in panel mount type applications these low profile connectors are less then 1" behind a plate.

The CD-MX9F and CD-MX9M terminal block contains clearly visible labeled screw terminals for each of the 9 conductors. Each terminal can accommodate cable sizes ranging from 16 to 20 AWG. These connectors are perfect for RS-232 and RS-422 applications where field termination is necessary. Terminal blocks are great when you need a fast and easy termination that can be done in the field. In addition to easy termination, terminal blocks are used to create your own custom pinout. They require no special tools other than a screw driver. Comes backed by a 5 year warranty from BTX.
