The EHV-HDAOC75 from Ethereal is an 246' Active Optical Fiber Cable. This lightning fast 18Gbps bandwidth active optical HDMI cable is a part of Ethereal's new Velox Fiber System family. These Velox Fiber System cables bring the latest in 4K resolutions to users and installers alike, bringing in the best in 4K resolutions (4K@60 4:4:4) at a whopping 18Gbps transmission speed. Ethereal has spared no expense when designing these very high-quality cables by using existing EDID repair tool technology found in some of there other great products. To correct the problem sometimes found in older DDC components that sometimes will not communicate with other devices, Ethereal has add technology to their cables that will combat any voltage shift errors that may occur over the DDC (EDID) lane by automatically shift the required voltage levels in a smooth and seamless fashion to help adapt these older systems with the more state of the art DDC electronics. 

These Velox Fiber System Cables are HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2 compliant, are CL Listed for in-wall installations, and use HDMI Type A Male connectors. However to achieve these amazing super fast speeds and the best in 4K resolutions, this cable does require power, and uses a 3' Micro USB cable to achieve this. The cable comes with two ribbon HDMI jumper cables. It does require power at both ends of the cable. Typically one end can almost always plug one end into the display. Included as well is a wall wart power supply for the source end. Also included are two 3' micro USB cables , one for each end to power the device. This cable comes complete, ready for install.
