Description
The P-2400 AR 20A Advanced AC Line Voltage Regulator from Furman is 2RU and comes with a 10 foot cord. This units intended purpose is to protect the users sensitive electronic equipment from AC line voltage irregularities that cause issues such as sags, over-voltage conditions, and brownouts. The above listed problems can cause digital equipment malfunctions (such as loss of MIDI programs or other data), audio tonal changes, or even permanent damage in extreme cases.
This voltage regulator can accept input voltages over a wide range of AC, it then transforms it to a constant output of 120V, ±5V. Depending on the range variance, any voltage beyond that range can be converted to a usable level. This unit has many features, including reducing line noise, filtering and purifying AC power, and ensuring optimum performance. Additionally, it has technologies such as LiFT (Linear Filtering Technology), EVS (Extreme Voltage Shutdown), and SMP (Series Multi-Stage Protection) providing the highest level of protected power.
