Description
The CONTROL 26CT from JBL is a compact, high-power handling and low distortion ceiling speaker set (comes with 2) that provides premium performance in background and foreground music sound systems. These speakers are optimal for commercial use, whether in supermarkets, casinos, or restaurants. Installation is easy and can be accomplished without above-ceiling access.
They contain a coaxially mounted 6.5" woofer and 3/4" titanium coated tweeter, that is able to deliver a maximum sound level over a very wide coverage area. The unit includes a multi-tap transformer for 70V or 100V line distribution systems. With 16 Ohms's of impedance, the user has the ability to connect multiple speakers in parallel without the need to use a more expensive voltage distribution system. The speakers feature a computer-optimized enclosure that ensures a smooth bass response and JBL's exclusive SonicGuard protects the speakers from overload. These speakers come packaged with grille, backcan and tile rails for fast installation.
The Control 26C speaker set offers a broad 110-degree area of coverage and was engineered for longevity. An aluminum voice coil former comes with the system and provides extra cooling, while the woofer features a polyurethane-coated cone and pure butyl-rubber surround, which contribute to a longer speaker life, even in more humid environments..
This speaker system has 140 Watts of power capability and a 75Hz to 20kHz frequency range. The combination of high power and wide frequency allows for a much wider coverage area that reduces the cost of an installed sound system without sacrificing performance or sound quality for your Pro Audio systems.
