Description
The Kramer ADC-MDP/GF converts unencrypted Mini DisplayPort signals to VGA without power. The adapter has a very small brain so that, in the handshake process, it tells the Mini DisplayPort device (computer/etc.) to output TMDS (HDMI/DVI) or analog instead of true Mini DisplayPort. All this assumes the Mini DisplayPort source has "dual mode" capability. Generally you can tell this if your computer/source has the ++ version of the DP logo on it.
