Description

Kramer's PT-1C is a 4K compatible EDID processor for HDMI signals. This device allows you to lock EDID signals and to pass or block HDCP, multi-channel audio or deep color signals that may or may not be compatible with the display. Features of the PT-1C incude: a maximum data rate of 10.2Gbps, compliance to HDMI and HDCP standards, HDMI input and output connectors, four program DIP-switches that control the desired functions, and can handle 4K/60 UHD (4:4:4). This device is also line powered so no power supply is needed as power is taken from the HDMI line, and has a power LED indicator on the front panel to show the unit it receiving power.

The PT-1C is a great device for home theater enthusiasts as well as a great aid in troubleshooting for installers as its main function is to help ensure backward compatibility for new devices on older infrastructures, making it so you are getting the best possible quality and compatibility out of your Audio/Video setup.
