Description
The VM-2H2 from Kramer is a high-quality distribution amplifier for full 4K UHD HDMI 2.0 signals. This DA has the ability to be a true 4K device as it features amazing resolutions up to 4K@60Hz UHD (4:4:4), and a max data rate of 17.82Gbps. This distribution amplifier works by taking in 1 HDMI signal, re-clocks and equalizes the signal, then distributes it to two identical HDMI outputs with resolutions of up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) UHD. By rebuilding the digital signal and "re-Klocking" it, this will strengthen signal integrity to allow to travel longer distances. This makes the VM-2H2 an ideal solution for use in digital signage, entertainment and retail type settings, as well for medical and government defense type applications that may require distributing signals that contain the best in high-resolution support. With HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 support this is an amazing compact distribution amplifier that can handle amazing resolutions to fit all your professional grade type applications.
One of the primary features this distribution amplifier is Kramer's unique Equalization & "re-Klocking" Technology that rebuilds digital signals for longer range distances. This unit also carries with it a default EDID for fast and efficient connection of the unit, the default EDID feature will let you connects the VM-2H2 without having to connect a display to the output. Operating modes are selectable by DIP-switch which include force RGB, lock, EDID, HDCP enable, and programming mode. This device is HDTV compatible, and has Dynamic Range Support (HDR) and has full HDMI support: Deep Color, x.v.Color, Lip Sync, HDMI Uncompressed Audio Channels, Dolby TrueHD, DTS–HD, CEC.
