Description

The Kramer VP-778 presentation matrix switcher with dual scaler outputs is a high-performance device that can be configured as a single 4K output (4K@30 UHD [3840x2160]) or dual HD scaler with full PiP capabilities. This device offers the ability to scale up to two independent HDMI outputs, each with a parallel HDBaseT output. It includes both analog and embedded audio inputs and outputs and audio DSP features. Additionally provided is two microphone inputs and digital & analog balanced stereo and amplified speaker outputs. Making this matrix switcher/scaler a perfect device for use in projection systems in conference rooms, boardrooms and auditoriums, or for any application where high-quality switching and/or scaling of multiple and different video signals are required.

Control of the VP-778 is achieved by using built-in web pages, RS-232 or IR. K–IIT XL provides Picture-in-Picture Image Insertion Technology that allows for an ultra-stable picture-in-picture, picture-and-picture and split-screen. Another excellent feature designed into this device is through the use of HDBaseT technology, that allows for data rates up to 6.75Gbps, and for signals to be sent up to 430' in normal mode, 590' in ultra-mode with a drop in resolution to 1080p. The VP-778 provides Auto Switching that automatically scans inputs based on a predefined priority and selects first live input found or last connected.
