Description
The RGB Spectrum D2004 4K Video over IP Decoder with PoE. The Zio encoder and decoder systems have been designed by RGB Spectrum to offer seamless audio and video switching over an IP network infrastructure and supports up to 4K 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz video signal resolutions. Zio endpoints attach to a 1Gig Ethernet switch, where encoders accept computer and video sources at resolutions up to 4K the decoders on the far side feed the displays or media walls through industry standard compression H.264, H.265. The D2002 model IP video decoder will accept signals up to 2K resolutions over a locking HDMI connector with loop through capability. The compatible encoder (S2002) is a flexible encoder that was designed to work with the D2002 decoders and all H.264/H.265 compliant devices. This AV over IP solution is an ideal solution for moving large amounts of data over an IP infrastructure.
A word about RGB Spectrum's new Zio AV over IP line. Zio at its core is an innovative family of products based on technology that offers video, audio, and control distribution over an IP network. It excels at moving large amounts of data over an IP infrastructure. Zio’s transport technologies and unique peer-to-peer architecture address these problems, while delivering exceptional user control and performance management.
Zio works by attaching its endpoints through a 1 Gig Ethernet switch, with encoders accepting computer and video sources at resolutions up to 2K or 4K depending on the model, with decoders on the opposite end feeding displays. The Zio system gives users a seamless switching over the IP network infrastructure allowing for all Zio endpoints to operate over both dedicated and shared networks. Equally the Zio system is highly scalable and ideal for systems of any size, across rooms, buildings, campuses, or cities. As system requirements grow, additional endpoints can easily be added on. By using flexible compression features this system is well suited to local building LAN or low bandwidth satellite links to remote locations. Thus providing a very reliable cost-effective solution as zio uses peer to peer architecture to avoid single point of failure vulnerability with redundant endpoints and automated failover features to help ensure continuous operation.
Zio systems also offer extreme versatility and flexibility, as endpoints can provide a gateway to traditional AV distribution systems using RGB Spectrum's Linx switchers, enabling a mixture of both analog and digital baseband content with IP traffic. The Zio system can control external systems or be control by them these interactions are enabled through sophisticated scripting algorithms. For control of the Zio system RGB has designed a very intuitive yet user friendly user interface for system management. This control interface can provide live thumbnails of each stream, search tools for finding the right content, and allows for any numbers of users to control the distribution of content and manage endpoints through a PC, tablet, phone, or via the web.
