Description
The Shure SCM262 Stereo Microphone Mixer. This compact, easy to use mixer has been customized for smaller installations such as for restaurants, classrooms, corporate training, aerobics classes, and other situations where a paging/public announcement system is combined with background music or other program material. The mixer features 2 balanced XLR microphone inputs, a 1/4" Phone line input, and 3 RCA phono line level inputs. On the output stage there is a stereo 1/4" phone and stereo RCA jacks.
Perfect for sound reinforcement applications that integrate microphones with consumer stereo products the SCM262 features multi-function DIP switches that allow users to customize the mixer for use in a variety of environments. The primary DIP functions include "Juke Box Muting" and " Paging with Ducking". The Juke Box Mute feature mutes background audio signal when a connected juke box is active, while the paging with ducking feature allows the SCM262 to be used as a paging mixer. Background audio levels are automatically reduced when paging microphones become active. Designed with quality inputs and outputs this stereo microphone mixer comes with 2 balanced XLR Mic inputs and a 1/4" Phone line input. Balanced stereo (L/R) 1/4" TRS Phone outputs are also featured for maximum gain and low noise floor. As well as three RCA stereo inputs (L/R) for interfacing with consumer audio devices such as Stereo Systems, CD Players VCR's etc. The SCM262 comes housed in a very rugged/compact enclosure which allows users to transport the device to and from their desired functions with confidence, and is backed by a 1 year warranty from Shure.
