Description
The Shure SCM410 is a high-quality 4-channel automatic microphone mixer that was designed for use in sound reinforcement settings, audio recording, and broadcast applications. The mixer will accept signal and dramatically improve audio quality of a dynamic and/or condenser microphone (including wireless) of any type. The rear panel features 4 balanced 3-pin XLR female microphone inputs and a single balanced XLR output that is capable of mic or line level signal. Each channel features an adjustable EQ for signal contouring and 12VDC phantom power is available for condenser microphones. The equalizer reduces unwanted low-frequency audio pickup and makes different microphone types: lavaliers, boundary and handheld sound similar. The logic terminals can be used to control external devices.
The SCM410 also features Shure's patented IntelliMix technology that works by incorporating functions that enable a seamless, noise free automation and channel switching. There is a built-in MaxBus feature that controls the number of channels that may be activated for a single sound source, which enables one user/talker to activate one channel automatically. Noise Adaptive Threshold is an auto adjusting noise level threshold that distinguishes between background noise and abrupt sound such as speech. The Last Mic Lock-On function keeps the most recently activated microphone open, allowing constant natural ambiance enabling noiseless, seamless channel switching. The SCM410 operates on 100-120 Vac power and the SCM410E operates on 220-240 Vac power. Each mixer is supplied with a power cord, rackmounting hardware, and a link cable.
