Description
The StarTech USB3AAEXT5M is a 16.4' Super High Speed USB 3.0 extension cable, it has a female to male connection. Using USB 3.0 features a throughput of up to 5Gbps which is 10x faster than USB 2.0. The cable is constructed of high quality shielded active circuitry to extend your your USB 3.0 further than the passive limitation of a traditional USB cable. The cable is powered through the USB bus however a universal power supply is included if the port is not supplying enough power.
The StarTech USB3AAEXT5M is plug and play and required no drivers, up to two of these can be daisy chained to double your distance. This active cable ensures that you will have a trouble free USB 3.0 transmission with no distance limitations.
